REED Trust (Rural Education and Economic Development Trust) is a registered Non-Profit organization formed to cater the educational needs of the poor children and the economic development of the women in the rural villages of Tamil Nadu in South India. We work for the holistic development of children and women empowerment.

We are in need of volunteers to help
Another way of helping out the poor and needy is by volunteering. As volunteers, one can help out people in different ways by being associated with such organizations in helping out the underprivileged.
A well-educated person can take up the role of a teaching volunteer and help impart education.

Education
Education is a fundamental right of every child and is crucial for their overall development and future prospects. However, in rural areas of India, access to quality education is limited for many children, especially those from low-income families. We take up this challenge by providing educational support to such children, which includes funding for their education, providing books, uniforms, and other necessary materials. This support will help these children break the cycle of poverty and give them a brighter future.
Economic Development of Women
In addition to addressing the educational needs of children, we also focus on the economic development of women in rural areas. Women in rural areas face numerous challenges such as lack of education, limited access to healthcare, and limited job opportunities. The trust works towards empowering these women by providing them with vocational training and job opportunities. This will help them earn a livelihood and improve their standard of living, which will have a positive impact on their families and the community as a whole.
